If you’re travelling internationally, Self Declaration Form on the Air Suvidha portal is now mandatory to enter India. Have all your questions regarding where to find the Air Suvidha form, how to fill the form, and when answered here.
Air Suvidha form is an online contactless solution that was launched in 2020. It cancels out all the hassles involved in one-on-one security checks (to see if people are vaccinated or have the RT-PCR test done), thereby streamlining the process. It promotes a convenient and queue-free air travel solution for passengers flying to India.
Whether you have your flights from UK to Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, or any other Indian city, you’ll have to fill out the same Air Suvidha form that is available on the Delhi IGI Airport website. This form is to be filled out to enter India irrespective of where the traveller is coming from and which Indian city the traveller will land.

No. There is no Air Suvidha app that you can download from App Store or Playstore. The only place the form is available is on the Delhi IGI Airport website.
No. The Air Suvidha exemption form has now been discontinued. All international passengers arriving in India need to only fill out the Air Suvidha form and declare their health status there.
Note: You won’t need to upload the RT-PCR test if you’re fully vaccinated or if you’re filling it for kids below 5 years of age even if the kid is not fully-vaccinated.
The upload file type should be PDF and the maximum upload size should be 1MB. Also, file names with any special characters and spaces are not permitted. Only hyphens and underscores are permitted.
As stated on the government website, “passengers can download any of the free apps available on both ios and Android to reduce file size. For iOS, one can use PDF compressor to reduce file size and Android users can download the Compress PDF app.” Given here are the steps to use the PDF compressor.
Passengers can update the Certificate of completing the full primary vaccination schedule of COVID-19 vaccination if they belong to these 119 countries/regions. The UK is a part of this list.
Yes, it is mandatory to provide a valid and working phone number in India. The passengers will be liable for a punishable offence under the provisions of the Indian Penal Code and Disaster management Act if this information is found to be incorrect.
If you do not have a personal number, you can share a relative’s number as well.)
Yes. While filling up the self-declaration form, the flight number should be entered without any spaces. Eg. JA039 for flight number JA039.
After the passengers tick the boxes asking for consent and submit the application, it will be forwarded to the Airport Health Organization (APHO) under the Ministry Of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. Passengers can then refer to their email inbox for the updated application document. Passengers should show this document on arrival in India at the APHO counter and proceed for immigration.
Filling out the Air Suvidha form can be quite a pain at times. If you face issues while submitting the form without the RT-PCR even if you’re fully vaccinated, clear the cache and cookies and resubmit the form again. This should help. In case it doesn’t, try –
1. Uploading the vaccine report instead of the negative report in the RT-PCR section &
2. Selecting any date within 72 hours of your travel in the date section
**This trick should do and is approved by the authorities at the Delhi Airport itself.
